R.I.T. Terms and Conditions

Macprofessionals R.I.T. experience offers the best solution for Online Training and we are committed to making your experience enjoyable and easy to implement. The Terms and Conditions below are to guarantee the basic requirements for a satisfactory experience with your remote learning sessions.

System Requirements

Mac OS X 10.3, 10.4, 10.5 (PowerPC/Intel)
    •    Safari 1.3 (Mac OS 10.3)
    •    Safari 2.0 (Mac OS 10.4)
    •    Safari 3.0 (Mac OS 10.4,10.5)
    •    Firefox 2 or 3
    •    JavaScript and cookies need to be enabled
    •    Requires Apple Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 5.0 or higher
    •    No support for Remote Access
 

Windows 98, 2000, XP, 2003 and Vista
Solaris 10 (SPARC/x86)
    •    Internet Explorer 6 or 7
    •    Firefox 2 or 3
    •    Mozilla 1.7 or higher
    •    Netscape 8.1 or higher
    •    JavaScript and cookies need to be enabled
    •    Recommend ActiveX be enabled for Internet Explorer
    •    Vista supports Internet Explorer 7 and Firefox 2/3 browsers only

 Additional  Information

  • All RIT credit expire 1 year after purchase.
  • Physical connection from your computer`s ethernet port into a cable modem is strongly recommended. We cannot guarantee a wireless connection will provide enough performance.
   • No other programs should be running other than your Web Browser
   • Telephone for teleconferencing
   • Headset for Phone Teleconferencing (recommended)
   • Using a cell phone for Teleconferencing is not  recommended       
   • Sign in 15 minutes before scheduled Class
   • If you are behind a Firewall this could cause performance issues check with System Administrator

We strongly recommend that you perform a System Check before you joining an R.I.T. session. Follow the link below to check your System. This Check could take up to 5 minutes to perform.

Macprofessionals is not responsible for Modem Performance, Routers, or Switches or Internet Performance on the student end.  
All sessions are pre-paid and non-refundable. If you experience performance problem during a session let your session host know immediately or contact the RIT admin here.
