Learning to use the right equipment, processes and procedures for file management on film sets requires a detailed and hands-on approach. Two Sessions covering Data Management:
Session 1: "Introduction to DMT" will include:
· Real world examples and exercises on using a DMS system on film sets
· How to safely and securely Transfer on-set cards and drives to a post-production ready medium (with or without a DMS system)
· How to confidently Back-Up your data to an Archive format to secure your valuable asset
· How to create on-set Dailies using a DMS system for iPhones™, DVD, or the web.
· Set Etiquette for Data Asset Technicians
· Which key third-party programs should be loaded on your production system.
Session 2: "Security for DMT" will include:
· Best practices for system security
· Tools and techniques for storage systems security
· File level encryption technology
· Data Recovery "do and don`ts"
· Password protection best practices
