Built For Today`s Classroom
Student input was a key factor in creating the ACTIVote devices. Ergonomically designed, the compact egg-shaped units fit comfortably and securely in a child`s hand. Their rugged construction includes a tamper-proof battery compartment, as well as a rubber-coated surface that minimizes slippage. A specially designed lockable case provides secure storage and easy transport for the 32 ACTIVote units.
ACTIVotes use radio frequency signals to communicate with the ACTIVboard. This technology is ideal for classroom use. Unlike infrared devices, ACTIVotes do not need to be pointed at the board, so physical obstructions are not an issue. In addition, only one computer port is needed to simultaneously run the ACTIVboard, ACTIVotes and ACTIVslate.
